As part of Saltdean Lido's restoration, Saltdean Library is now open for business welcoming users when staffed and unstaffed.
The all new Saltdean Library, part of the Saltdean Lido building, is now open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday. A member of the Brighton and Hove Library Team will be in the Library on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. On Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday the Library will 'Libraries Extra' meaning there will be no staff in the library however users will still be able to use the self service machines to borrow, return and renew books. Users will also be able to make cash payments at the self-service kiosks, and use one of the 6 library computers (there are 4 adult computers, and 2 for children).
The interior decor looks amazing with coloured chairs, reading tables, comfy chairs, a fantastic children's reading area, and a great range of books for everyone. The library also has a large range Audio books on CD, and books for people with dyslexia

Tuesday / Staffed - 9am-5pm
Wednesday / Unstaffed - 9am-7pm
Thursday / Unstaffed -9am - 7pm
Friday / Staffed- 9am-5pm
Saturday / Staffed- 9am-5pm
Sunday / Unstaffed -9am - 7pm
Library staff are on lunch 1-2pm so self-service kiosks can be used.
