Ageing well festival event submission deadline 5TH July




This years Brighton and Hove ageing well festival will run from Monday 20th September to Monday 4th October. If you would like to run an event the deadline is 9am on 5th July to send in your completed forms to festival@ageingwellbh.org. The team really want to give the Brighton & Hove 50+ community a chance to enjoy two weeks full of events, activities and opportunities to connect and socialise. Take a look at our ‘5 Years of AWF’ video here to get a taste of what the festival is all about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNA7IoIIPiU The Festival is also a chance to introduce people to your service by putting on a creative-themed event and demonstrate what you are all about in a fun and inclusive way. Events can be in-person or online (or both). If you do plan an in-person event but COVID-19 restrictions mean this isn’t possible come September, then we hope it will be possible to adapt your session to work online. The Ageing Well Festival team have had a lot of experience of running groups online over the last year and will be on hand to advise and support in this circumstance. If you want to be part of what, we hope, will be an epic two weeks of celebrating ageing well, please send your completed forms to festival@ageingwellbh.org by 9am on 5th July.
