Wednesday 30th June - Sunday 18th July features East Sussex artist John Burgess at Rottingdean Heritage Gallery.
John is a self-taught artist based in the East Sussex countryside and gathers inspiration from the natural world.
He creates pastoral landscapes and seascapes in oil on canvas. He also uses coloured pencils to create images of British wildlife.
Look out for the dragonfly in his works!
John says "I particularly enjoy painting pastoral landscapes. I am based in Old Heathfield and am a member of The Society of Eastbourne Artists"
