Brighton and Hove’s Ageing Well Festival, organised by the charity Impact Initiatives, is a two-week celebration of events and activities tailored for individuals aged 50 and above, taking place at various venues across Brighton and Hove from 29th September to 13th October.
The festival will offer an eclectic range of events both free and low cost with intergenerational activities and opportunities to meet and connect with people from all walks of life.
The 2023 festival has the theme of Expanding Horizons and Linking Lives, which was decided in collaboration with Impact Initiatives' Lived Experience Advisory Group.
Last year’s festival boasted 113 events hosted by 49 different businesses and organisations, across 44 venues throughout the city. From cherished favourites like vintage Routemaster bus trips, to new and exciting activities such as wilderness exploration sessions and make-up lessons, there was something for everyone. In total, over 4,000 people participated in the festivities.
The final 2023 Programme will be announced in August.
