Local artists Loraine Hayes (paintings) and Louise Elizabeth (quilts) are exhibiting their creations inspired by the Sussex landscape at the Grange Gallery in Rottingdean from 17th August to 4th September 2022.
Loraine Hayes' paintings are inspired by the wild flowers of the South Downs and combine a landscape of rolling hills, wild flowers and abstract colour.
Each painting is based on a particular place and each flower a particular discovery.
Louise Elizabeth combines contrasting and complimentary fabrics to make glorious quilts. The collection at the Grange is inspired by the Sussex landscape.
