The South Downs National Park has published a cycling route from Southease Station in the River Ouse Valley to Falmer via the ancient village of Telscombe.
The route starts at Southease train station. You can take a limited number of bikes on trains outside of peak hours. You then take the paved road from Southease up to Telscombe village.
Above the village the ride is through grass, gravel and chalk bridleways until you reach the cycle path at Woodingdean where you reach a paved cycle path down to Falmer.
