Insect expert Professor Dave Goulson free Q&A session

A free Q&A with renowned author and insect specialist Dave Goulson has been organised by the Greenhavens Network to answer your questions about Wilder Gardens in your local area on Wednesday 6 October 19:00–20:30.

Dave will talk about how we can tackle the decline in population of insects and explain that we are in the midst of the 6th mass extinction event, with extinctions occurring faster than at any time in the last 65 million years

Dave will explain why insects are declining, and suggest how we should tackle this crisis, first by turning our gardens and urban greenspaces into oases for life, and second by fundamentally changing the way we grow food.

Dave Goulson is Professor of Biology at University of Sussex, specializing in bee ecology. He has published more than 300 scientific articles on the ecology and conservation of bumblebees and other insects.
