An 800m boardwalk on the beach from the bottom of Dukes Mound to the Black Rock electric railway station is due to open on 7th April as part of the council’s Black Rock rejuvenation project.
The Black Rock rejuvenation aims to make the eastern seafront a more sustainable, accessible, and attractive place to visit.
Pedestrians will be then be able to reach Brighton Marina via a walkway running along the line of the new sea wall to the existing subway or using the new link to the Marina.
