Sussex Community Development Association is launching an Active Travel Hub in Newhaven, a space for the community to engage in cycle and walking activities year round.
The Hub is Located by the Sidings Bistro near Newhaven Town Station and the following free sessions are available, but make sure to book a slot as soon as possible:
• Bikes 4 Beginners Four week course: 26 April, 3, 10, 17 May 3.30pm- 4.30pm.
For children aged 5-12 who are not yet confident on a bicycle.

• Gentle Walk: Every Thursday starting 11 May 11am
A gentle walk for adults 18+ wanting to get back in to light exercise.

• Mountain Bike Club: Every Wednesday from 4pm 17 May. 4pm-6pm
Exploring the local area with a professional guide. For 11–16-year-olds.

Training programme that teaches children practical skills and gives them the understanding and expertise they need to ride their bikes on the road.
