New e-bikes available to hire between Rottingdean and Portslade seafront

Brand new Beryl BTN e-bikes and parking bays are now available covering the seafront between Rottingdean and Portslade connecting both Brighton and Hove stations via key spots such as Churchill Square.

This initial scheme area (phase one) will expand with phase two and three coming in the summer eventually comprising 780 bikes and e-bikes with pedal assist and over 100 bays for city wide coverage.

The bikes are easy to use and are hired through the Beryl app. Once you've made your account you can use the app to find your nearest bike, unlock it and off you go.

When you've reached your destination you can locate your nearest bay on the map in the app. As the scheme is set to expand in the summer not all the usual parking spots will be live right away.
