New garden open for visitors in Saltdean 30th July

A new garden cleared in 2016, landscaped and planted during 2017 at 33 Wivelsfield Road in Saltdean will be open for visitors on 20th July 11-5pm as part of the National Open Garden Scheme.



Split over three levels filled with colourful perennials, annuals, grasses, and succulents planted in the ground and in containers.


The formal garden leads onto a wildflower meadow extending onto the downs, giving spectacular views of both the ocean and South Downs National Park.


Teas will be served in the meadow at the top of the garden.



From A259 at Saltdean turn onto Arundel Drive West, continue onto Saltdean Vale. Take the 6th turning on L, Tumulus Rd. Take 1st R onto Wivelsfield Rd, continue up steep hill, 33 is on the R.
