Peacehaven Community Orchard is hosting a volunteer day on Tuesday 11th January at 10am and need help with mulching, repairs, litter and poo picking. There will be volunteers pruning the apple trees so they will need others to help close the protective net cages behind the pruners.
The orchard is located on the northern side of the Centenary (big) Park on Piddinghoe Avenue, Peacehaven BN10 8QX.
There are almost 100 apple trees growing including many Sussex varieties that are cared for by a team of volunteers with the support of Brighton Permaculture Trust.
