Newhaven Green Centre's next Repair Cafe is this Sunday 10th July, 2.30-4.30 at Meeching Hall, 2A Fort Road, Newhaven BN9 9QQ (by the small parade just down from the Hillcrest Centre). In addition to electrical repairs, they have textile and jewellery repairers.
You’re welcome to just drop in, but it would really help if you could get in touch before coming (info@newhavengreencentre.com) so that they know what to expect.
Repairs are free and we will have a donation box and card reader so if you are able to help us cover our costs that would be appreciated.
They will provide teas, coffees and biscuits / cakes. If you would like to volunteer to help with refreshments (including cake baking!) or help in any other way just get in touch.
Even if you don't have anything to repair, please come along and say hello. They'll be running their usual 'Bring and take' sharing table and collecting and advising on recycling to help you to minimise waste.
