The Saltdean Lido Community Interest Company is hosting a free exhibition of the lido’s history and new restoration plans to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th June 10am-3pm. This will also be an opportunity to meet Saltdean’s sports clubs, community groups and charities.
Organisations attending include; Saltdean Swim and Surf Club; Saltdean Residents Association; Saltdean Community Charity; Saltdean Tennis Club; Saltdean Youth Club; 5 Deans U3A; Saltdean Bowls Club; Saltdean and Rottingdean Lions; Neighbourhood Watch; Newhaven & District Model Railway Club; Saltdean Garden Club; Saltdean Townswomen's Guild; Steephill Art Club; PARC; and Saltdean Lido CIC
There will be refreshments and catering available on-site and there’ll be Saltdean Folk Singers popping in throughout the day.
What you can expect to see:
PARC will be showing plans for the new Multi-Use Games Area and renovated skate park for the Saltdean Oval Park
The Saltdean Lido CIC will be displaying the exciting new plans & displays on the Lido’s history. You can learn about the current state of renovations, future plans for the building’s use and talk to members of the Saltdean Lido CIC
