Volk's Electric Railway reopened for the 2023 season on 1st April so you can ride along Brighton's Seafront on a 140-year-old electric railway, the oldest working electric railway in the world.
No need to book - just turn up and ride. The Volk’s Electric Railway has been transporting passengers in style since 1883.
On the perfectly preserved cars you'll be transported back to the Victorian era of innovation and ingenuity. You’ll then travel the mile-long beachfront line, bathing in the sights and sounds of our scenic coastline.
